Lisa and David tied the knot this past Saturday here at CMRCC! The ceremony took place in our gazebo garden where the couple stood under a traditional Jewish chuppah to exchange vows and rings. The chuppah symbolizes the home that the two will build together as husband and wife–a place of both shelter and protection. Family members of the bride and groom recited prayers and blessings for the happy couple, culminating in the “smashing of glass.” This shattered glass represents the idea that Lisa’s and David’s lives will be forever changed, just as the glass will never return to its original state. Their elegant affair was trimmed with both rustic and dainty decor. Guests loved the fun photo booth with wedding-themed props, and the giant sweets and treats table was also a huge hit! Our foyer and other spaces were filled with vintage and modern photos of friends, family, and loved ones, which were complimented by the gorgeous arrangements of bouquets. The couple’s guests were also encouraged to leave date ideas in a wine box for the newlyweds to enjoy later!
